Background
Since its inception, ArchLoot has been dedicated to leveraging interactive NFT technology to unlock the potential of user-generated content (UGC), fostering a continuously evolving gaming ecosystem.
We have already deployed ArchLoot on BNB Chain and continue to see strong support from the BNB Chain community. However, as BNB’s price continues to rise, the cost of on-chain interactions becomes a growing concern — especially for games that require frequent and large-scale transactions. Reducing these interaction costs is crucial not only for developers but also for delivering a more seamless and accessible user experience.
To address this and to better align with the BNB Chain ecosystem’s long-term vision, we believe that expanding ArchLoot to the opBNB network is a smarter and more forward-looking choice. As a Layer 2 solution within the BNB Chain ecosystem, opBNB offers significantly lower gas fees and faster transaction speeds, making it an ideal environment for scalable and highly interactive gaming experiences.
By embracing opBNB, we are not only optimizing the infrastructure for our existing user base but also positioning ourselves to attract a broader audience and further strengthen our commitment to the BNB Chain ecosystem.
opBNB is a high-performance Layer 2 network launched by BNB Chain, offering the following advantages:
- Low Transaction Costs: Significantly reduces on-chain interaction fees for users.
- High Throughput: Increases transaction processing speed, optimizing the gaming experience.
- Robust Ecosystem Support: Inherits BNB Chain’s extensive user base and developer resources.
We believe that integrating with the opBNB network will help:
- Lower players’ on-chain interaction costs, enhancing game fluidity.
- Attract more users from the BNB Chain ecosystem, expanding our community.
- Lay the foundation for future multi-chain deployments and cross-chain interoperability.
Proposal Details
We propose to expand the ArchLoot gaming ecosystem to the opBNB network, specifically:
- Smart Contract Deployment: Deploy ArchLoot’s core smart contracts on the opBNB network, ensuring the integrity and consistency of game mechanics.
- Asset Cross-Chain Support: Integrate with cross-chain protocols to enable seamless transfer of $AL and in-game NFT assets between BNB Chain and opBNB.
- Ecosystem Incentive Program: Launch incentive measures for early users on the opBNB network, including but not limited to airdrops and task rewards, to promote user participation and community activity.
- Technical Support and Maintenance: Ensure high availability and security of deployments on the opBNB network, providing continuous technical support and maintenance.
Expected Impact
- User Growth: Anticipate attracting more new users to the ArchLoot ecosystem through the opBNB network expansion.
- Increased Ecosystem Activity: Reduced interaction costs and faster transaction speeds will enhance user activity and retention.
- Advancement of Multi-Chain Strategy: Accumulate experience and technical foundation for future deployments on other chains (e.g., Sui, Base).

This is a fantastic proposal and a much-needed step forward for ArchLoot! The rising gas fees on BNB Chain have definitely been a concern, especially for a game with frequent interactions. Moving to opBNB makes perfect sense for scalability, lower costs, and a smoother player experience. Excited to see the ecosystem grow and fully support this initiative. Looking forward to the incentive programs too! Voted FOR.
This proposal makes a lot of sense, especially with the current gas fee situation. I’m particularly interested in the seamless transfer of $AL and NFT assets between BNB Chain and opBNB. Ensuring the cross-chain bridge is secure and user-friendly will be key to a smooth transition. Overall, I support this direction and believe it will benefit the ecosystem.
Could the team perhaps share a bit more about the anticipated development effort for this expansion? For instance, are there significant new development tasks required beyond porting the core smart contracts and integrating cross-chain protocols?
Also, if the proposal passes, is there a rough timeline the team is aiming for to have ArchLoot live and operational on opBNB?
Overall, I support this strategic direction and believe it will greatly benefit the ecosystem. Just curious about these implementation details!
Thanks for your support!
In addition to the development and deployment of on_chain parts, the game client must also make corresponding adjustments to support a series of operations of multi-chain assets.
If this proposal is supported by the community, we plan to carry out the first test in the next 1-2 months.
More details will be gradually disclosed
This is a fantastic proposal! Expanding to opBNB sounds like a brilliant move to grow the ArchLoot ecosystem. The focus on interoperability with seamless asset transfers between BNB Chain and opBNB is exactly what we need. Plus, who doesn’t love incentives for early adopters? I’m fully in support of this and excited to see ArchLoot flourish on a new network! Let’s get this passed!
Interesting proposal. Expanding to opBNB could definitely bring in a new wave of users and enhance the ecosystem. I’m particularly keen to see how the cross-chain integration for $AL and NFTs will be implemented to ensure security and smoothness. The incentive plan for early users is a good touch. Overall, I’m leaning towards supporting this, provided the technical execution is solid.
Solid proposal! Expanding to opBNB and focusing on cross-chain functionality is a smart strategic move. The incentives for early adopters are a nice bonus. You have my support!
Great proposal! Expanding to opBNB for lower fees and faster transactions is a smart move. How will the team approach marketing to the existing opBNB user base to ensure a strong launch?
I support this expansion. For incentive programs, perhaps consider exclusive NFT drops or early adopter badges for those who bridge assets or start playing on opBNB within the first month?
This is a positive step forward. Are there any plans to collaborate with other projects already thriving on opBNB? Synergies could be powerful for growth.
Excited about the potential of opBNB! Could you elaborate on the security measures and audits planned for the new smart contracts and the cross-chain bridge? Ensuring asset safety is paramount.
Lower gas fees are a huge plus. It would be beneficial to prepare some simple guides or tutorials for users who might be new to opBNB and the process of bridging assets.
This is a fantastic proposal! Expanding to opBNB is a brilliant move for the long-term growth of ArchLoot. Lower gas fees and faster transactions will be a game-changer for the community. I’m voting YES!
I’m all for this. A smoother and cheaper gaming experience is crucial for attracting and retaining players. This is a clear step in the right direction. Great job, team!
I support the expansion, but I’d like to know more about the security measures for the cross-chain asset transfers. Can you provide more details on the protocols that will be used to ensure the safety of our assets?
The incentive program for early opBNB users sounds exciting! Could you share more information about the types of rewards and how they will be distributed? This will be a great way to kickstart the new ecosystem.
This is a forward-thinking proposal that aligns perfectly with the future of blockchain gaming. opBNB’s scalability will be a huge asset for ArchLoot. I’m excited to see how this will unfold and what other layer 2 solutions are being considered for the future.
Great proposal! How will the team promote this expansion to attract new users from the opBNB ecosystem? A strong marketing push will be essential for making this a success.
